An Afternoon of Glamour

A glamorous High Tea for Mpower Network Members, Mpower Women Network Members and business people. Making connections,relationships and partnerships for growth.

It was a sunny afternoon 3rd February 2018, all business ladies of substance were headed to Ibis Cafe for #MpowerNetworkingHighTea. All ladies and gentlemen looking to network and grow their business while having a great time were present.

The set up was in the garden was striking in purple and white. There was enough space for exhibitors and business people to mingle and speak. We started off with a networking “speed dating” game. Everyone met at least 8 people they had never met. In the first 20 minutes the goal to meet fellow business people was reached !

Mpower Limited CEO spoke about the journey of Mpower Limited, the values and agenda Many were inspired and signed up to join Mpower in “Empowering Entrepreneurs to Growth”. We managed to get over 30 new members signed up. Woop!

Lucy Wamuyu and Vincent Otumbo who have attended several Mpower Limited training and events shared their testimony and journey of growth after partnering with Mpower Limited. We thank you for your positive and generous compliments.

Networking and Mentoring for Business Growth

The Chief Guest was represented by KNCCI Director Martin Soita who graced the event. He delivered the Keynote address on behalf of Rukia Rashid Chair of KNCCI, “Mentoring and Networking for Business Growth” MENTORING AND NETWORKING FOR BUSINESS GROWTH- Rukia Speech.

Priya Chana launched the Mentorship program.The mentors donate at least one hour per week for 3 months to guide any entrepreneur going through a challenge. Mentees can choose a Mentor  or ask Mpower Limited to match them up. Visit and fill out the forms. Get the support and guidance required to help your business grow and prosper.

Food, Prizes and Music

After the speeches, we indulged in delicious High Tea snacks by Ibis Cafe’. Also available were snacks by Nargis Delights and Bliss Resort who were exhibitors.

As the sun was setting raffle prizes were won. part of proceeds of the raffle shall go to SALA MABATI TRUST Clinic for children treatment. Best dressed ladies were awarded as well. choosing the winner was a tough task as everyone looked glamorous in their hats or facinators!

Before we closed the formal part of the event, our host Shiprah Mkamburi belted out a few numbers. Participants joined in a shuffle and danced all through. A great way to end the MpowerNetworkingHigh Tea.
